Cooperation and partnership

NIOPH has had internal and international partners. Internal partnership includes Francophony Institute for Tropical Medicine and international health, Department of Organization and Personnel of Ministry of Health, National Statistic Center of State Committee for Planning and Investment, and other National Research Institutes to Lao PDR. International cooperation partners and supporters are shown bellow:

In addition, NIOPH has collaborated with 3 research institutes of Japan namely Research Institute for Humanity and Nature Kyoto Japan, Japan Nagasaki University Institute of Tropical Medicine, and International Medical Centre of Japan, Tokyo, for conducting the health development study project at Lahanam zone, Songkhone district, Savannakhet province, Lao PDR for a duration of 5 years (2003-2008) (Leaflet of the HDS project).
